Scarification on the face and body has existed since the dawn of time in the Bwaba ethnic group, but there is no precise information on the meaning of these scars. I am Bwaba and I was scarified at the age of six. Today I am 43 years old, and I want to know the real meaning of the scarification on my face. I decided to return to the village to find out the reason, the meaning and the origin of these scars.
